Kasino A4 is "the most melancholy magazine".
The Finland-based independent publication has become known for its uncompromising style, sharp look and own voice.
Kasino A4 was chosen as one of the ten best independent style magazines in 2008 by Angelo Cirimele, the editor of Style Press 2008.
"Finland the other homeland of graphic design" could be a fine slogan for the independent-collective-published Kasino A4, he writes, and continues: Subjects are rich and angles surprising ... Fashion gets the spontaneous treatment, atmosphere can in turn be natural and peaceful, or violent and urban.
The core team and its talent pool of creatives treat the magazine-format like an art-form that is both immediate and intimate. All is done with a playful wit, brash attitude and tender vulnerablity.
Kasino A4 magazine tackles timeless themes while firmly laying its feet in now. In the hectic and snappy mediascape, it is like a lovingly made slow food dinner among new and old friends.
